Listening to the Rod

Micah 6:9

The LORD'S voice crieth unto the city, and the man of wisdom shall see thy name: hear ye the rod, and who hath appointed it.

There is a lesson spoken in every form of chastening

·       By a parent

·       By a government

·       By an employer

·       By the Lord

But only wise men hear it.

Most people grow angry at judgment.

·       Some grow reclusive

·       Some become threatened.

·       Wisdom listens

·       Wisdom learns

Wisdom recognizes the name attached to the rod as being, regardless of its administration, that of the Lord.
