Mark 5:30-33 (KJV) It’s Personal

Mark 5:30-33 (KJV)
And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes? And his disciples said unto him, Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me?And he looked round about to see her that had done this thing. But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth.
This was just between Jesus and the woman. Oh, other’s heard and saw the interaction, but only Jesus and this woman knew what was done in her.
The same can be said of genuine salvation. It is always only between the Lord and the one who is saved.
  • Others can witness the moment a sinner calls upon the Saviour.
  • They might testify of a change in life in the one professing salvation.
But the spirit bears witness with only our spirit that we are saved.
