Psalms 77:14-15 (KJV) They Were Different Men

Psalms 77:14-15 (KJV)
Thou art the God that doest wonders: thou hast declared thy strength among the people.Thou hast with thine arm redeemed thy people, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. Selah.
God’s arm has redeemed …the sons of Jacob and Joseph.
They were different men
With different strengths and weaknesses. God does not call just one type of man but any and all types of men. He pays no attention to race creed color or kinship.
They were of different generations
God’s call to salvation is not merely for one time, but all of time. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday today and forever. His plan has not changed. His power has not changed. His love for souls has not changed.
They were chosen separately
But both were chosen. Anyone who has a heart for Christ may fairly know that Christ has a heart for them. God’s call for Jacob was much different that the one he had for Joseph but He had a call for each. God has a call for each of us if we will but accept it and embrace it.
