Revelation 12:3 (KJV) Two Wonders

Revelation 12:3 (KJV)
And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.

There are two wonders contrasted in this chapter. 

• One is of God
• The other is of Satan

Both are wonders. They are bigger than mankind. They are amazing, inexplicable. They each draw the attention of men. 

The one is in travail, pain and crying. 
Its promise is grand but it is questionable whether it will be capable of delivering on it. It must be embraced by faith. 

The other is great, powerful and fearsome. 
It drew a third part of the stars of heaven with it. No wonder so many choose to follow it. 

The thing is, God tells us that the second wonder, which appears so powerful, loses to the first. 

Choose the first. You will have to choose by faith, hoping for a future reward. You will experience threats and difficulties until the promise is delivered. But choose the first.
