Obadiah 1:17 (KJV) While We Were Yet Sinners

Obadiah 1:17 (KJV)
But upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions.
One of the most important eschatological truths is that God is not finished with the Jews. Though they have been set aside for a time, the clear teaching of the Bible is that God’s love for them has not died and God’s plan for the future has them smack dab in the center.
It’s an important truth to rightly divide the Word of God
No understanding of prophecy can be correct without understanding this truth. Every principle of future things is flawed if it misplaces the Jews in that future.
It’s an important truth concerning God
Here’s the thing, God loves us while we were yet sinners. Our sin separates us from God, but it does not kill the love of God. Though one may endure chastening, even judgment from God, so long as they have breath, they have the opportunity to come to God. So long as we live, we may repent of our sin and return. God, as did the father of the prodigal son, will welcome us with open and cheerful arms.
