Deuteronomy 29:29 (KJV) The First Responsibility of Every Believer

Deuteronomy 29:29 (KJV)
The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.
Though the context is Jewish the truth is infinite; there are things only God knows. He has crowned men with a curious nature, and it is our honor to search and find a thing out.
Proverbs 25:2
It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter.
Still, the first responsibility of any believer is the observance of God’s revealed Word. Man has lost his way, it seems to me because he has not kept that as his first priority.
Science, philosophy – academics in general, are not bad. They become terrible when those who are ever learning are unable to come to the truth.[1]
Obey God’s revealed will. Then allow Him to guide you into that which you do not know.

[1] 2 Timothy 3:7
Ever learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
