Revelation 11:10 (KJV)
And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.

The events of the Book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ are prophetical. They will occur in the future. They are literal. They will occur as described. They are dispensational. They complete Daniel’s 70th week.
But I find in the events many examples of spiritual life in any era, including this Church age, only supernaturally amplified.
- The power of the prophets
- The protection of the prophets and
- The hatred of the prophets
All reflect, to some degree, the nature of the ministry even today. I wonder if, as we grow closer to the time of Christ’s coming, the reflection becomes even stronger?
Today:
- The gospel the preacher declares has the power to save the lost
- The Spirit of God protects the preacher from so that he cannot be eternally lost, and frequently from physical and material losses. But
- The spirit of the world increasingly displays hatred for the preacher, condemning his message of salvation through Christ as abusive and hateful.
Praise God we know the deliverer. One day soon, and before these violent acts of hate are perpetrated, God will lift His children away from this world.
Even so come, Lord Jesus.
