Revelation 10:2 (KJV) Small But Powerful

Revelation 10:2 (KJV)
And he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth,
We, as men, see the truth so darkly.
Albert Barnes says the little book symbolizes the Reformation period.
John Gill says the little book cannot symbolize the Reformation but rather the revelation of those things sealed in Revelation 5 and now about to be opened upon the world.
Adam Clarke just says, “Who knows what is meant by it?”
Note that it is distinctly called a little book. The things of God do not have to be big
  • To be powerful,
  • To be effective or
  • To accomplish the will and work of God
