And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,
To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.

I heard from a preacher friend[1] last evening, a message on the visions of Daniel. His message concluded with an application for Christians today. He said we are called to be “soldiers, not salesmen.” Our responsibility is to be instruments of the Spirit of God in two realms:
In the realm of the church
We would serve as, the Spirit does, to bring comfort, to come alongside the grieving. To bring illumination, to teach and preach the Word of God. To preach salvation, and to see the lost come to know our Saviour.

In the realm of the world
Our work, as instruments filled with the Spirit of God, is very specific,

And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:

As soldiers then, according to my friend, we are responsible to declare the ungodliness of the world.
That’s certainly what Jude did.
