Joshua 16:10 (KJV) Sin Works That Way

Joshua 16:10 (KJV)
And they drave not out the Canaanites that dwelt in Gezer: but the Canaanites dwell among the Ephraimites unto this day, and serve under tribute.
Joshua said that the Ephraimites failed to drive out the Canaanites so that, to the day of this writing, they were still there. We know that they are there even today. Israel lives side by side with the people of other blood even right now. Most of the world sympathizes with the Canaanites rather than the Jews.
Sin works much the same way. If it is given place at all, sooner or later the flesh will take sides with sin. What was once considered evil becomes tolerable and then it becomes the victim and finally, it becomes good.
We currently live in a time when what only a few years ago would have been thought evil, became an alternate lifestyle. It then was thought to be acceptable. But today it is thought of, in many circles, as preferable, being promoted in education, entertainment, and politics.
We need revival.
We need to turn to God.
