Matthew 19:4-5 (KJV)
And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female,
And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh?

Have ye not read?

This is not the first time the subject had been addressed by the Lord and it is not an original problem to be addressed. The Old Testament clearly answers these questions for them.

Some of the earliest lessons in the Bible, Genesis 1-2, address these issues: 

• He made them male and female
• He made them for marriage and
• He made them to be one flesh

The question in Matthew 19 concerns, at least at the first, the question of divorce. A careful reading reveals that it also deals with the problem of homosexuality. 

• He made them for marriage, male and female. He did not make for Adam another man. 
• He made them to be one flesh. This can never be true of same-sex couples. 
• He made them to be for us for a lifetime. And we know this is never the case of the same-sex crowd. 

To approve of any union besides the marriage of a male and female is to flatly deny the Bible.
