1 Corinthians 1:27 (KJV) God Hath Chosen

1 Corinthians 1:27 (KJV)
But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;

I’m focusing on those words, “But God hath chosen…”

It is very apparent from the context of both this epistle and the one following that not everyone in this church approved of God’s choice. No matter what they believed about Paul, God had chosen him. No matter what they thought of his ministry, preaching or message, God had chosen him. This truth must be made forefront. God hath chosen 

• Not the will of the church
• Not the decision of his adversaries 

God hath chosen. 

May we ever surrender to the will of God.
