Psalms 9:10 (KJV) How Long?

Psalms 9:10 (KJV)
And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.

What a wonderful reminder that the Lord has not forsaken “them that seek thee.”

I suggest that there needs to be much more seeking the Lord today. What I see instead is a continual demonstration of self-dependence:

• A new way to get our message out
• A new way to collect the tithes and offerings
• A new way to witness to people

If we are discontent with our circumstances:

• I see defiance instead of brokenness
• I see frustration instead of contrition 
• I see protesting Capitals instead of crying our to God

O Lord how long until Your children turn to you?
