Job 7:12 (KJV) Job Sinned Not

 Job 7:12 (KJV)

Am I a sea, or a whale, that thou settest a watch over me?

I maintain that in all of this, “Job sinned not nor charged God foolishly.”[1]

Job rather, I believe, sounds a bit like the Apostle Paul in Romans 7. He is a saved man who struggles with “the body of this death.”[2]

Bildad will soon make his reply. Bildad sounds just like the self-righteous. He preaches a religious message of success and satisfaction. However, Job knew God entirely differently. He knew a relationship with God whereby we are sinners to the day we die, in need of the liberty that the next life will bring. Blessed be the name of the Lord, who sets a watch over our evil nature to mold us and make us like unto His Son, Jesus Christ.

[1] Job 1:22 (KJV)
In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly.

[2] Romans 7:24 (KJV)
O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?
