Psalms 100:1 (KJV) A Joyful Noise

Psalms 100:1 (KJV)
Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands.

It is appropriate not for the Jews only, but for all people all over the earth to offer God worship, honor, and praise.  

It should be joyful
Because our God offers forgiveness of sin, purpose in life, and the promise of eternity.


Life can hand us lemons. The results of sin have so affected the earth that it is not hard to be focused on the negative. God is positive.

It should be loud
The Hebrew word for noise is “ear-splitting.” I am not sure that means we ought to be obnoxious. I am sure that means we should not be shy.
