Isaiah 41:27 (KJV) Behold, Behold

Isaiah 41:27 (KJV)

The first shall say to Zion, Behold, behold them: and I will give to Jerusalem one that bringeth good tidings.

Isaiah 40:3 is a prophecy concerning John the Baptist.
Isaiah 40:3 (KJV)
The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.

Now we have a prophecy concerning the Lord Jesus Christ.

-He is announced by a first, John the Baptist[1]
-He is given of God[2]
-He brings good tidings
-He did what no man could do[3]

  • Behold Him
  • Believe In Him and then
  • Believe Him

[1] The first shall say…

[2] John 3:16 (KJV)
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

[3] Isaiah 41:28-29 (KJV)
For I beheld, and there was no man; even among them, and there was no counsellor, that, when I asked of them, could answer a word.
Behold, they are all vanity; their works are nothing: their molten images are wind and confusion.
