… till thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will.
What grace and patience God showered on Nebuchadnezzar. Far from destroying him, God moved time and again to bring him to know the most High.
In His dream of chapter two
He understood there was a spirit upon Daniel from his God that revealed secrets.
In his event in the plains of Dura
He learned that the God of the Hebrews could do what no other god could do.
In this account with Daniel
Nebuchadnezzar learned to be humble before God. God was in charge of his rule, as well as all else.
It’s a fact of men that we seldom learn everything in one go. This is especially true of spiritual matters. Once being introduced to the Lord, God spends the rest of our lives refining us and teaching us to grow in grace and the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
