Micah 7:18 KJV
Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy.
I fell in love this morning with that phrase, "He delighteth in mercy."
What a cause for hope and joy.
What an encouragement to come boldly to His throne
God pardons iniquity
God passes by the transgression
God does not retain His anger forever
“Because He delighteth in mercy.”
To be sure, there is iniquity among us. There can be no argument that we have transgressed against the Lord. But we must not let that prevent us from diligently seeking Him. We must not let that keep us from following His Word and from confessing our sins when we commit them.
God delights in mercy. He takes pleasure in showing mercy and even grace to us.
What god of man own manufacturing is like that?
