Mark 3:13 KJV
And he goeth up into a mountain, and calleth unto him whom he would: and they came unto him.
I see first of all the sovereignty of the Lord.
He called whom He would. His was complete choice. His will was done.
He chose whom we would
He called those whom He chose
I see secondly the submission of the called
They came unto Him.
It would not have been necessary that all that were called would have come. Many in fact, who had come, went back later on.
There is an inexplainable balance between the sovereignty of God and the free will of man. God is sovereign as does as He pleases. But he allows within that sovereignty that we may obey or not.
Would to God we would do as he would!
