Philippians 1:12
But I would ye should understand, brethren, that the things which happened unto me have fallen out rather unto the furtherance of the gospel;
Most of us do not have the same experiences as the Apostle Paul.
Most of us have not been jailed for our testimony
Most of us have not been able to use that jail time to write Bible
Most of us have not seen the numbers of souls saved that Paul has through his continued ministry
But all of us who are Christians can relate to have things happen to us. Some of those things may be directly related to our faith; some of them may be simply things that happen to all human beings in life. However, it is possible that the Lord would use all of the things that happen to us for the furtherance of the gospel. And, if we would take that kind of attitude, we would find that those things that happen to us would not be so overwhelming to us.
It would be wise, godly and healthy for us if we chose to let those things that happen to us in life, fall out rather to the furtherance of the gospel.
