Who Did Hinder You?

Galatians 5:7-8 KJV
Ye did run well; who did hinder you that ye should not obey the truth?
This persuasion cometh not of him that calleth you.

Galatians 5:10 KJV
I have confidence in you through the Lord, that ye will be none otherwise minded: but he that troubleth you shall bear his judgment, whosoever he be.
Paul appears not to know the names of the offenders, those who had come in and so hindered these Christians' walk with the Lord.

Ye did run well
So these were people who had lived for God. I know some in my own ministry who have run a good race of late.
They have been living for God
They have been building good relationships with God's people
They have been serving the Lord in the church

Who did hinder you...?Someone has stepped in and hindered that walk. As in Paul's case, we might be able to give a name, but we might be wrong. Here is the fact though; whoever it is is not helping but hindering the cause of Christ. They may be persuading Christians to walk a different direction, but that persuasion is not from God.

He...shall bear his judgment
That one who has persuaded the child of God, to turn from the good race, will be judged and bear that judgment. Paul did not need to know whoever it was. God knows and God is the One who will ultimately bring the judgment.

Ye did run well, so my encouragement is to run again! Cut off those who trouble you spiritually. Remove yourself from their company and fight the good fight of faith once again!
