Hebrews 9:8 KJV
The Holy Ghost this signifying, that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while as the first tabernacle was yet standing:
The way into the holiest of all...
Whenever the high priest entered into the holiest of all he did so with blood and just once a year. Each visit into the holiest of all was a symbolic visit with God. He represented each of us as we seek a way into God's presence. By the fact that he never entered without blood the Bible says the Holy Ghost signified that the way into the holiest of all had still not been made clear. Each yearly visit was a reminder that they had no access to God.
But then came Jesus.
Christ entered into the holiest of all with his own blood once.

- He appears even right now in the presence of God for us
- He is our way into the holiest of all
- He is our access to God and
- He holds the way ever open for all who come to God through Him
