John 15:4 KJV
Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
Scofield's Notes on "abide" is a blessing today: I have modified it only a small amount to, I think, draw out message contained.
"To abide in Christ is,
On the one hand, to have
• No known sin unjudged and unconfessed
• No interest into which He is not brought
• No life which He cannot share
On the other hand, the abiding one takes
• All burdens to Him, and draws
• All wisdom
• All life and
• All strength
from Him."
