Opposed to All Reason

Acts 18:14 KJV
And when Paul was now about to open his mouth, Gallio said unto the Jews, If it were a matter of wrong or wicked lewdness, O ye Jews, reason would that I should bear with you:

Paul was about to make a defense on his own behalf but it turned out to be unnecessary. Gallio saw through the pettiness of the Jewish people and dismissed the case summarily.

The arguments the world makes against the faith of the Christian is opposed to all reason. Genuine faith is an advantage to any society. The Christian is no threat to any except those whose livelihood is made through wrong and wicked lewdness. All others find an absolute benefit in embracing the faith of the Christian and, if not becoming a believer, living in the proximity of those who are.
