1 Corinthians 1:2 KJV
Unto the church of God which is at Corinth
Here is authorization for the use of this book to
all who are called to be saints, not only in Corinth but in all places and not
only then but at all times. The Holy Spirit applies this piece of Scripture, as
we believe He does to all Scripture, to all the saints of God of all ages.
Here is a local church book. Written to one
congregation, the only type of church found in the Bible. But here is evidence
that this is only one church and that, what is truth for this church is truth
for all churches that are called and sanctified and that call upon the name of
the Lord.
