Alone

Daniel 11:45

And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.

Antiochus Epiphanes, the man this prophecy concerns, is a representative of the Antichrist of the Tribulation period. Antichrist will perceive of himself that he is someone very great.

·       He will speak swelling words about himself.

·       He will set himself up as a god

But in the end, when Christ returns, there will be none to help him, none who can help him. He will come to his end,

·       Alone

·       Helpless, and if I may

·       Impoverished

·       His pomp

·       His power

·       His followers

will have all been destroyed.

·       His pride

·       His ego

·       His arrogance

will have all been decimated.

So it is with any who set their faces against God. They may believe themselves to be with the in crowd. They may believe they have

·       The majority

·       The mainstream

·       The popularity

on their side.

In the end those who are

·       Without Christ are also

·       Without help and

·       Without hope
