What Is Your Vision?

Obadiah 1:1

The vision of Obadiah. Thus saith the Lord GOD concerning Edom; We have heard a rumour from the LORD, and an ambassador is sent among the heathen, Arise ye, and let us rise up against her in battle.

Obadiah is not a large book; only twenty one verses. We know little to nothing about him:

·       Who he was

·       Where he was from

·       When he lived

are all subjects of speculation and debate. What we do know is that

·       He had a vision

·       He recorded that vision and

·       God continues to bless that vision through its place in the preserved Word of God

We may not believe the little bit we can do for God matters but we could not be further from the truth. God has

·       A place

·       A purpose and

·       A plan

for every one of us. It does not matter how big our place and purpose is in the eyes of men. What matters is that we faithfully carry out the plan of God for our lives.

Obadiah had a vision. What work has God given you?
