Revelation 12:16 (KJV)
And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.

The earth has been ravaged by the curse just as mankind has. It is because of the curse that we have natural disasters such as:

• Earthquakes 
• Tornadoes 
• Tsunamis 
• Volcanoes 
• Floods
• Etc

Though huge numbers of people die by these disasters, the earth that generates them is not our enemy.

The earth helps us by providing the very products we use to protect ourselves from disasters.

• The food
• The water
• The shelter

that sustains our lives is delivered to us by this earth. (It is God that gives them and the earth that delivers them.)

Our enemy is Satan. He always has been. He may get us to focus on the things we see, like a flood, but the problem is Satan.

Our great need today is to solve the spiritual problem. The environment, issues like climate change, endangered species and fuel shortages are only symptoms (and those, misrepresented) of the true problem.

Turn people to Christ and the Lord will turn the earth in our favor.
