Luke 24:6-8 (KJV)
He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee,Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.And they remembered his words,

It’s easy to forget.

We are prone to forget tiny details, even the important subtleties that happen while our attention is elsewhere:

• Important sentences
• Voice inflections 
• Significant context

We remember a thing but we may forget the most important reasons to remember.

So the disciples were urged to “remember how he spake.”

• In times of stress 
• In times of confusion 
• In times of decision
• In times of doubt
