Romans 4:3 (KJV) What Saith the Scripture?

Romans 4:3 (KJV)
For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.
We have here what I believe is a Biblical pattern for message preparation, Bible teaching and personal study.
Paul began with a questionThe subject he wanted to take in hand was, “How was Abraham justified?”
Paul’s concern was the ScripturesWhen answering questions of any serious nature the place to work is from this, “What saith the Scripture?
Paul built his study through the whole of Scripture concerning Abraham. This was no one-verse message. Nor was it a single passage sermon. It was a character study of Abraham.
Paul supported his findings with corroborating passages.Namely, King David.
When seeking a spiritual answer to any question a person is always on safe ground to begin with, “What saith the Scripture?”
