Deuteronomy 3:26 (KJV) Stop It

Deuteronomy 3:26 (KJV)
But the LORD was wroth with me for your sakes, and would not hear me: and the LORD said unto me, Let it suffice thee; speak no more unto me of this matter.
This is Moses. There has never been one so meek, yet so anointed of God. No one else has ever spoken to God face to face as Moses did. The prayers of Moses on behalf of Israel were passionate, fervent and especially effective.
Yet here God silenced him. Moses was to speak to God no more of this matter.
The New Testament encourages importunate prayer. We ought to pray and keep praying until we get that which we pray for, or until God says, “No.” Until God tells us to speak no more to Him about it.
I observe that Moses did not “sull up” and mope. Having heard the answer in the negative he turned his attention to what he could do, what God still told him to do.
Sometimes God says, “No.”
Just pick back up and do what you can for God.
