1 Samuel 6:6 (KJV)
Wherefore then do ye harden your hearts, as the Egyptians and Pharaoh hardened their hearts? when he had wrought wonderfully among them, did they not let the people go, and they departed?

What Israel could not do in combat, even with the Ark alongside them, God did to the Philistines with the Ark.

Spiritual victories seldom happen in our time frame or in the manner we expect but God never stops working in the affairs of men. When one people seem to be suppressed another people see great Revival. We may be working in our own fields as it were but God is at work among the Philistines of our age and location.

The lesson is to stay faithful and stay hopeful. Keep our eyes on the Lord. He will not slumber nor sleep.
