Acts 1:2 (KJV) As One, In A Church

Acts 1:2 (KJV)
Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen:
Though in every respect it may be said that the Holy Ghost was complicit with all that Jesus said, this is the first and only time that the Bible says Jesus spoke “through the Holy Ghost.” And this, in His resurrected body.
This takes us back to the promise of Jesus in John 16. It begins a transition of ministry directed by Christ to that which is empowered and led by the Holy Ghost. This transition finds its fulfillment in Pentecost.
The passage also reveals the cooperation between the persons of the Trinity. They are one. They each have their station and work but that work is in full compatibility with the others.
May we learn to function as one in a church as they are one in each other.
