Nehemiah 9:17 (KJV) Ready To Pardon

Nehemiah 9:17 (KJV)
And refused to obey, neither were mindful of thy wonders that thou didst among them; but hardened their necks, and in their rebellion appointed a captain to return to their bondage: but thou art a God ready to pardon, gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and forsookest them not.

We could go on and on about the sins of people. And in fact this chapter does give pointed and specific details concerning those sins and the consequences of them. But our text answers any and every list of both sins and consequences we can muster; God is “a God ready to pardon.”
  • Whatever is our situation
  • Whatever is our past
  • Whatever is our burden
  • Whatever keeps us down

God is “a God ready to pardon.”
