Colossians 4:3 (KJV) Praying Also For Us

Colossians 4:3 (KJV)
Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds:
The Apostle Paul, in bonds, imprisoned for his faith, asks that others would pray, not that the door of the prison be opened, but that a door of utterance would be.
This, I think, would be the prayer of all earnest men of God. We sense our bonds.
  • We are bound to a sinful flesh
  • We are bound to a weak and aging body
  • We are bound to a limited understanding
  • We are bound to an inadequate tongue
  • We are bound to a disapproving world
  • We are bound to a hardened hearer
Yet our desire is not to be loosed. We merely want to be free to preach what mysteries of Christ we have come to know.
Will you pray for us?
To my readers:
