Leviticus 9:6 (KJV) Glory Indeed

Leviticus 9:6 (KJV)
And Moses said, This is the thing which the LORD commanded that ye should do: and the glory of the LORD shall appear unto you.
Here is a promise, do “the thing which the LORD commanded that ye should do: and the glory of the LORD shall appear unto you.”
I doubt that glory ever appears in the manner men expect. We have ideas about:
  • What God should and shouldn’t do
  • Who God should and shouldn’t be
  • How God should and shouldn’t behave
  • What God should and shouldn’t say
The thing is, God is God. He doesn’t play by our rules. We, if we would see His glory, must play by His.
  • The glory of the Lord is the picture of Christ in the sacrifices
  • The glory of the Lord is the witness of Christ through his children
  • The glory of the Lord is ultimately the salvation of our souls through the gospel of Jesus Christ
The thing the Lord has commanded we should do is, Acts 16:31
And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
This is glory indeed.
