1 Kings 5:12 (KJV) They Worked Together

1 Kings 5:12 (KJV)
And the LORD gave Solomon wisdom, as he promised him: and there was peace between Hiram and Solomon; and they two made a league together.
1 Kings 5:18 (KJV)
And Solomon’s builders and Hiram’s builders did hew them, and the stonesquarers: so they prepared timber and stones to build the house.
Interestingly, in the wisdom of God, Solomon enlisted the help of Gentiles to build the house of God. They worked together, the two kings, and their laborers.
I contend that it was never God’s intent to isolate and love Israel alone. His plan was to use Israel as a means to bring all nations of people to Himself. Selfish, sinful men made the house of God exclusive to Israel. Eyes that see darkly have interpreted that exclusivity as the will of God. This separation of the two peoples, Jews and Gentiles, has kept untold souls from the truth. It was Paul’s insistence that the New Testament Gospel brought unity between the two in one new man in the church that caused his eventual arrest and execution.
God will in the Tribulation conclude His work with the Jews, but not to make them the sole object of His love. He will use them to bring multitudes of every nation to Christ.
