Job 2:1 (KJV) More Like Christ

Job 2:1 (KJV)
Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them to present himself before the LORD.
Again there was a day.
As much as Satan had attacked Job, God had allowed the attack, and Job had suffered, Job’s trouble wasn’t over.
There came another day.
  • Another day when Satan accused Job
  • Another day when God pointed Satan to Job and so
  • Another day when Job endured the attack of the devil.
The testimony of God’s Word concerning Job is sure, “…that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?”
None of this was a judgment from God. It was meant from Satan as an attack but from God as a perfecting. There was none like Job but he could be more like the Lord.
It’s difficult to pray but it is my prayer, “Lord make me worthy to be made more like Christ.”
