Psalms 43:1-5 (KJV)
Judge me, O God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation: O deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man.
For thou art the God of my strength: why dost thou cast me off? why go I mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?
O send out thy light and thy truth: let them lead me; let them bring me unto thy holy hill, and to thy tabernacles.
Then will I go unto the altar of God, unto God my exceeding joy: yea, upon the harp will I praise thee, O God my God.
Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.

Five verses in this Psalm, and every one of them critical.
An ungodly nation
Whether America has ever been a godly nation has been debated. What cannot be debated is that it is not a godly nation today.

Why go I mourning?
It is not because of the deceitful and unjust man. It is because we have lost touch with God.

Send out thy light
Let the truth of God do what it does; bring us to God’s holy hill. God’s light and truth will always lead one to the house of God.

Then will I go
I’m going to do two things when I am at church: I am going to go to the altar and I am going to praise God with song.

Hope thou in God
It might be a difficult time, but God is still our hope and His promises are still true.
