Psalms 45:1-3 (KJV) Bubbling Over

Psalms 45:1-3 (KJV)
My heart is inditing a good matter: I speak of the things which I have made touching the king: my tongue is the pen of a ready writer.
Thou art fairer than the children of men: grace is poured into thy lips: therefore God hath blessed thee for ever.
Gird thy sword upon thy thigh, O most mighty, with thy glory and thy majesty.
From passages like Psalms 43:5 (KJV)
Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.
The Psalmist moves to, Psalms 44:1 (KJV)
We have heard with our ears, O God, our fathers have told us, what work thou didst in their days, in the times of old.
This leads him to the uplifted and joyful spirit of Psalm 45. The word “indicting” means bubbling or boiling over. He is filled to the top and spilling over with good things. God has blessed and it is time for Him to put up His sword.
I cannot say that I am certain the pestilence is over or that our government will quickly allow life to return. I am not inspired as the Psalmist was. I can say that I appreciate the positive tone of this Psalm. It is:
  • uplifting,
  • encouraging and
  • hopeful.
With God all things are possible. I still cry out for reviving, but I believe reviving is possible.
Psalms 45:17 (KJV)
I will make thy name to be remembered in all generations: therefore shall the people praise thee for ever and ever.
