Psalms 119:176 (KJV) We Need God

Psalms 119:176 (KJV)
I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek thy servant; for I do not forget thy commandments.

What an interesting way to end such a major work as Psalms 119. His final conclusion was that he had gone astray and that he needed God to seek him. He had not forgotten God’s commandments. In fact, it was those commandments that had led him to conclude such a thing.

I am reminded of Apostle Paul when he said he had not attained.

The more we grow close to the Lord the more we know we need the Lord. It is a humanistic Christianity that believes we can affect any good on our own. We need God even as:

  • We learn His Word,
  • We obey His Word.
  • We teach His Word.

In the end, we need God to seek us.

To my readers:
