Mark 1:7 (KJV) Preach the Coming One

 

Mark 1:7 (KJV)

And preached, saying, There cometh one mightier than I after me, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to stoop down and unloose.

There cometh one
This ought to be the subject of every message. 

And preached saying
We aren’t speakers. Our task isn’t to excite, motivate, or even inform. We are to preach the Coming One. 

Mightier than I
Oh, the frailty of the human flesh. We so often worship people, and the worshipped love to have it so. 

I am not worthy
Every preacher must remind this to himself and to his hearers. 

There cometh one
Jesus is coming. He is coming very soon. The signs these days suggest it is sooner than most Christians imagine.
