Jeremiah 49:39 (KJV)

But it shall come to pass in the latter days, that I will bring again the captivity of Elam, saith the LORD.

Grace.

It is not as if the Elamites were ever friends of the people of God. Though distantly related and closely connected, both in space and in histories, the Elamites were, more than anything else, a thorn to the Jews. 

Judgment was sure. 

But the promise of God’s Word was of eventual grace.

Oh, praise God for such a promise.
