Genesis 45:7-8 (KJV) A Practical Principle

Genesis 45:7-8 (KJV)

And God sent me before you to preserve you a posterity in the earth, and to save your lives by a great deliverance.
So now it was not you that sent me hither, but God: and he hath made me a father to Pharaoh, and lord of all his house, and a ruler throughout all the land of Egypt.

One of the most practical principles we find in the Bible is right here.

This world is a hard place to live. Very often, difficult things happen to us. When they do, our choices are something like this:

  • We can crumble under the load
  • We can grow bitter at those involved
  • We can blame God and turn against Him, or else
  • We can see it as God molding us for good

No matter the circumstance and no matter the outcome, if we submit to the Lord, He will use it for a good, even great purpose.

But we do have the choice.

Will we keep the right attitude and, though difficult, trust the Lord, or not?
