Job 35:16 (KJV) Thou Speakest Too Much

Job 35:16 (KJV)

Therefore doth Job open his mouth in vain; he multiplieth words without knowledge.

Talk about the pot calling the kettle black! Elihu waited until everyone else had said their piece. But when he started talking, “he multiplieth” words.

Elihu began his speech in chapter thirty-two

Job 34:1 Furthermore Elihu answered …
Job 35:1 Elihu answered moreover …
Job 36:1 Elihu also proceeded …

Elihu didn’t finish his rant until the end of Job thirty-seven.

The farther he went along, the more mistakes he made. He would have been ahead had he said nothing at all. Though he was the last to speak, he waited until he was angry (Job 32:2). There are plenty of people whose quietness is no indicator of how much anger they contain.

If you are angry about a situation you have little to do with, you would be wisest to deal with your anger and leave the problem with those who have some management of over situation.
