But ye have not so learned Christ;
The passage clearly sets Christ to be our example.
Negatively
We never see in Jesus:
A vain walk- A darkened understanding
- An alienation from God
- A blind heart
- An unfeeling nature
- A lascivious lifestyle
Positively
We do see in Jesus:
- Righteousness
- Holiness
- Truthfulness
- Charity
- Honesty
- Graciousness
- Kindness
- Forgiveness
The obvious lesson is what we have learned of Christ ought to be the practice of the Christian.
