To the end he may stablish your hearts unblameable in holiness before God, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints.
Our passage here speaks of something other than the office and more far-reaching than qualifications for
service. This passage speaks to every Christian and points to a day we will one day face. In that moment, the issue will be more profound than standards. Will your heart be free of guilt in the presence of Christ? The Word of God says it can be. Your heart does not have to hold you into account. Your heart can be holy and without blame. It’s by having a heart of compassion for others, even for all men.
We cannot win everyone to Christ. We cannot make friends with everyone. But we can sincerely desire that all men come to Christ through God’s grace.
Such a heart is unblameable in holiness before God.
