As ye also learned of Epaphras our dear fellowservant, who is for you a faithful minister of Christ;
The Apostle was thankful for what the believers had learned there in Colosse. He was thankful for their faith, testimony, and hope of heaven.
Paul prayed for them, that their walk would be worthy, their knowledge would increase, and that they would be fruitful in every good work.
Then Paul credited this to the ministry of Epaphras. I note that there is far more mention of the things of the Lord than of the man who taught them those things. But I also note that there is an acknowledgment of him.
Thank the Lord for those God has called and those who answer and are faithful to that call.
