John 10:33 (KJV)

The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.

 

If a person chooses to deny Christ and reject the words of the Bible no amount of persuasion will change their minds.

John 10:33 (KJV)

My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

 

Jesus’ sheep follow Him because they.

·       Hear His voice

·       They know Him[1]

 

To the point - Jesus plainly said that He was both man AND God.

·       Not a god

·       Not one of the Sons of God

 

“Thou being a man makes thyself God.”

 

Even then the Jews, though supposedly believers in the God of Moses, could not hear Jesus voice and see Him to be the Christ.[2]

 

I know Islam is not the only one teaching it, but they do seem to be predominant[3] in claiming that Jesus is not God. They argue:

·       He said He was the son of God.

·       He called God Father.

·       He prayed to God His Father.

·       He worshiped God His Father.

·       He died as a man.

 

These, in their minds, require that Jesus, even if He is called Christ, is not God.

·       Why would God need to pray to Himself?

·       Why would God worship Himself?

·       How could God die?

 

They refuse to accept the Biblical answers because they do not know God, or Jesus, Whom He sent. And, because they do not hear His voice, they do not follow Him, and they - as well as all others who do not hear His voice - miss eternal life.

 

May God give them ears to hear and eyes to see so that they may in turn never perish.
