It is time

Hosea 10:12
Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.

"It is time..."
Acts 17:30 (KJV)
And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:
I realize that one of these passages speaks to the Jews of the Old Testament and the other to a mostly Gentile audience of the New Testament. We can't make a direct connection between the two verses. However, there is at least an application we can draw from the Word of God.

Whatever the habits of days gone by, "It is time..." for us to seek the Lord.
Whatever were the lessons we have learned in this world, "It is time..." for us to seek the Lord

We can make all of the excuses we choose. We can say it is too late, that too much sin has gone under our bridge for us to turn things around. We might blame the Lord and say that if He had helped us, we would have done right before now. We might accuse Him of judging us to harshly. None of that is of any real consequence now. "It is time to seek the LORD..."

There comes a point when we must either "fish or cut bait" as the saying goes.
There comes a day when we can no longer procrastinate in the spiritual realm.

"It is time..."
May God help us seek the Lord today.
